Dunnage Inserter

The Butech Bliss dunnage inserter includes two models. The first design unloads new wood from a pallet and locates it via a robotic arm within the stacker precisely where it is required to support the pack. The program permits multiple pieces of wood to be located on a previously stacked pack. The operator never needs to touch or locate the wood used to separate the packs.

The second model is for customers who want to separate packs that need to be lifted with pack lifters. We drop multiple small pieces of wood or high-density plastic on either side of the sheet as it is fed into the stacking system. The blocks separate individual packs, making removal via pack lifters very easy. Blocks are then returned to an automatic magazine storage system for re-use.

Both systems are fully automated and programmable to meet customer needs for pack separation.

The Butech Bliss Advantage

The dunnage inserter significantly improves cut-to-length line productivity. The dunnage material, either new lumber or reusable composite blocks, can be inserted between packs within the stacker. The line only slows down as the composite material is inserted as the first sheet in the pack is positioned into the stacker.
